Welcome to Nagaland University

Greetings to all my esteemed colleagues. I am happy to announce that I have completed two years as Vice Chancellor of Nagaland University. Together, we have witnessed transformative changes in our academic and administrative ecosystem. From the outset, we prioritized critical measures that had long been overdue. A significant achievement is the publication of the Ordinance of Nagaland University in the Government of India Gazette, giving us our own Act, Statutes, and Ordinances - an important step toward autonomy. We have adopted the NEP 2020, launching the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme from the 2023-24 academic session. This aligns our academic framework with national standards and enhances educational opportunities in Nagaland. After a 12-year gap, we proudly received accreditation from the National Accreditation Assessment Council (NAAC) with a B+ grade and a CGPA of 2.52, valid until 2029.
